Founded in 2010, Deitra is an independent magazine and creative platform documenting fashion, music, art and culture from the Ozarks and beyond.We are a magazine only in medium. Deitra is also a meeting place for musicians, photographers, filmmakers, writers, designers, models and other creative people who feel compelled to make things.
There is no single Deitra aesthetic and no single kind of artist who belongs here. What connects the work is curiosity, collaboration, self-expression and a willingness to color outside the lines.
Our print magazine remains at the center of what we do, bringing together in-depth interviews, music journalism, fashion editorials, photography, film and cultural coverage in collectible print editions that document the creative worlds around us.
Beyond the page, Deitra produces release parties, artist showcases, runway productions and other live events that bring artists and audiences together. Deitra TV extends that archive through interviews, event footage, behind-the-scenes material and original video.
For more than fifteen years, Deitra has served as both a platform for the artists working now and an archive of the people, scenes and creative communities that have passed through its pages.
Deitra Magazine is woman-owned, independently published and documenting independent creative culture since 2010.
